5 must-have hair oils

Coconut

Coconut oil is a universal oil. It can easily replace body butter, face cream and hair mask. Speaking of the latter. The oil contains a lot of useful amino acids, which envelop the surface of the hair, protecting them from the aggressive effects of the environment. It brings back a healthy shine, saves from dryness, softens and moisturizes. There are several ways to apply coconut oil. Before washing the entire length – twice a week, instead of conditioner – it is applied to wet hair, and then washed out with shampoo, together with a detergent – 2-3 drops. If you have an oily scalp type, do not apply the oil to the roots – set aside 5-6 cm.

Argan oil

Argan oil is adored by trichologists. Thanks to its “golden” composition – it contains polyunsaturated fatty acids, as well as shottenol and alpha-spinasterol, responsible for the regeneration of cells – you can safely apply it to the scalp for dryness and slow growth. And another helper – triglycerols, which restore the protective hydro-lipid barrier. If you want to make a mask, warm the oil to room temperature, and after the application, wrap hair with foil and lightly heat with a hair dryer, so that useful substances penetrate more quickly into the hair follicles.

Castor Oil

This oil, which you can easily buy at any drugstore, also has many useful properties – it prevents brittleness, strengthens the roots and “calms” the cuticle, smoothing it. The main active ingredient is ricinoleic acid, which helps accelerate hair growth. The oil can be used in its pure form. But it is better to prefer products on its basis – they foam better, rinse better and contain a “cocktail” of additional useful ingredients. Contraindications to its use: allergies and individual intolerance.

Bleach

It seems that there is not a single girl left in the world, who at least once in her life would not have tried to make a mask of burdock oil. Its properties were known even to our grandmothers. And in the age of low-molecular cosmetics, it continues to break records of popularity. And all because of its composition – a treasure trove of vitamins, micro-and macro-elements.

Also it stimulates local immunity, improving skin barrier properties, improves limiting metabolism, activates hair follicles and gets rid of dandruff.

In its pure form apply to the scalp with massaging movements. Keep for at least two hours – this is how long it takes the oil molecule to penetrate the epidermal barrier.

Avocado

Avocado oil is a must-have for those who suffer from dry ends and a dry scalp. Unlike all the others, it is not one of the base oils, but is more commonly found in other care products.Greenish-yellow, without a pungent smell, it is an excellent moisture retainer. The only disadvantage of the oil is that it is difficult to rinse off. Though this disadvantage is more than compensated by the effect: the hair after use is smooth, shiny and healthy.
