Okay, I really look like a nerd there. Please excuse the semi-wet hair with the frizzy ends. I'd just washed it, and dashed out the door. These are car pics, and I didn't plan to post them, but I ended up really liking the makeup, especially the blush which I applied a lot more than usual.
Now I don't need to wear glasses, I only wear them "for fashion" Although, my left eye is quite weak. If I cover my right eye, things get blurry, especially when I look far. It's also the eye that turns to Tokyo, when I'm looking at China. It's a weird eye.
What I learned? More is more. I think four-eyed beauties can get away with overdone make-up. I did my eyes a whole lot darker than they appear in these photos. Lips have got to be bright, so skip the n*de lippies.
- Eyes- Neutral Smoky with Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Luminizer to line & wing upper lash line. Lakmé Kohl Ultimate applied all the way to the inner tear duct areas. Piled on the mascara on both top & bottom lashes.I think I used Maybelline The Falsies Mascara or Bourjois Volume Glamour Max Definition. The eyeshadow technique I used was almost the same as in the Mint Eyeshadow Tutorial but with black liquid eyeliner, and more kohl on the bottom lash line.
- Lips- I applied Faces Moisture Rich French Rose, blotted it, and lightly dabbed Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick Bare on top.
- Hello Kitty Bow Glasses are from Ebay. Same as the pink ones in my Quirky Professor Look
Sorry I forgot to click a pic with my eyes looking down so you can see the eyeshadow
If you're wondering what's the deal with that red airbag at the back of the car, we were going away for the weekend- this was back in Delhi.
How many of you wear glasses? Do let me know if you want a proper eye makeup tutorial & more tips. Another excuse for me to get another pair of glasses ;)
Ooh.....once, a SA in MAC Kuala Lumpur was wearing a pair I really liked- rectangular frames & equally thick on all sides. I complimented her, and asked her where she got them from. She giggled, made a nervous hand gesture, and mumbled some gibberish which I put together as "This old thing? I don't remember!". Oh, but I knew she didn't want to tell. Hmph, women!
