Hahaha... even I was stuck in a rut, buying the same type of shades all the time! Even my hubby says that I buy same pink/rose shades all the time.

Same thing happened wid me too i tried to buy plum shade of Maybelline too but S.A. said if u rub plum shade often it vl turn exact shade i brought on her promises later shade was very different.i even brought another blood red shade wid balm of Maybelline its exact red in the pic :-)
