Beauty Blender Sponge: Rs.1900
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush: Rs.850-1100
Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki Brush: Rs.1615
Facial Cleansing Brush: Rs.399
That's right, it's a Forever 21 Facial Cleansing Brush!
It works like a charm!
I personally find this kind of brush too soft for cleansing my face + I prefer my fingers or flannel cloth. But when I decided to use it for base products, I was amazed!
The flat angle of the handle + density of the brush made it feel like I was ironing the foundation onto my face.
I don't even have to apply pressure while blending, just dab dab dab and done!
When you use it to press concealer under your eyes, the finished result looks almost like baking.
How I Use It: I dot the foundation on my face and then use it to blend, buff. I avoid putting foundation on the brush first, because it does soak in the foundation and then the bristles look blotchy...and then it's harder to clean it... you know how it is.
Speaking of cleaning, I use a baby shampoo and my brush cleansing mat (shown here)
For those interested in it, it may no longer be available at Forever 21.
But I found 2 on Amazon India:
- Almost exact one for Rs.375 HERE
- A pink one that comes with a FREE brush cleansing egg/tool for Rs.375 HERE
This post made me realize I haven't bought any new makeup brushes this year,
and that's what I'm gonna do asap. Yup, the oval ones!
P.S. Nykaa sells FAKE Beauty Blender & many more, btw.
