You know that feeling when you finish watching the finale of a TV series? Like something died inside you? Ya, that's the feeling I'm feeling these days - after I finished watching The Missing. It's such a brilliant show with an ending that still haunts me days later. Do watch it if you're into mystery.So....if you're wondering what makeup I wore on Valentine's Day, this is it. I didn't get time to click photos that day, so I recreated the look. Well.... just eyes & lips, because a full LOTD with presentable hair is almost impossible for me to do these days! Even on V-Day, I had to put my son on a chair opposite me while I did my hair! He stopped crying & watched =D
Crease ~ First, I applied & blended together Urban Decay Tease, Limit & Darkside from Naked 3 Palette. Then I blended a bit of matte black e/s (Bourjois Intense #10). *In the pic above, I hadn't used black eyeshadow yet.
Lid ~ Etude House Fairy Glitter Shadow #1 Pink Glass Heels from Princess Happy Ending Cinderella Collection., a pressed glitter eyeshadow that's so so gorgeous!
Lower Lash Line ~ I used the same eyeshadows I used on the crease + the same glitter e/s on inner half. On the inner tear duct area, I used a bit of Urban Decay Dust from the same palette.
Kohl ~ To Tightline & on waterline, I used Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal in Just Black (Swatched here)
Eye Liner ~ I used Maybelline The Colossal Eye Liner. Winged it a bit.
Mascara ~ Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara. I applied about 3 boats of the bottom lash end.
False Lashes ~ Ardell. Not sure what number they are, but they're from the Natural Starter Kit that comes with glue & an applicator.
First, I lined and filled my lips with Bourjois Levres Contour Lip Liner #12 Facetieuse, blotted it, and then I applied Revlon Matte Balm in Elusive on top - mainly on the center of top & bottom lip - and blended with a finger. I'm loving this combo these days.
Hope you liked this type of post, because I'm gonna do more. I think it's a good way to swatch & wear products all at once.
Let me know if you'd like me to do a particular combo. Like, if you're not sure how to wear a lipstick or eyeshadow shade.
Sigh. That feeling again. It doesn't help that I have to wait till next Tuesday for the new episode of another tv show....another mystery I'm completely hooked to - Broadchurch.
Ooh...idea! Heading to Amazon for new mystery novels now!
Talk again soon! =)
