Lakmé Absolute Lip Tint Berry Pink Swatches, LOTD

On my coffee table, next to my laptop, among all the other stuff that I have to have near me at all times, I keep all my brand new lipsticks. To test, yes, but mainly to keep track (so I don't forget about them). Sometimes, I would use one of them a few minutes before going to brush my teeth and wiping it all off at night. It may seem pointless, but in those few minutes, I get to know the lipstick a little bit more. For over a month now, lipsticks have come and gone from the table. Only one remains - Lakmé  Absolute Lip Tint. It may land in my handbag some days, but it always ends up back on the table. It's always there next to the tissue box, hand cream, mints, etc. What I'm trying to say is, I've been using it religiously. I used to apply it instead of a lip balm every time while watching Breaking Bad. Now even Breaking Bad is finished and gone *sad sigh*, and Lakmé Lip Tint is still on the table, now next to a new box of Kleenex.

Out of 6 shades, I picked Berry Pink. It's such a wearable pink, and I think it would suit a lot of people because it seems to change color and undertones (cool/warm). You don't know how many swatches I have clicked on different days. I decided to re-click my lip swatches because the previous ones didn't come out nicely, but in the new pics it looks too coral-ish.
That's how long it is.

Lakmé Absolute Lip Tint Berry Pink Swatch. See what I mean about it looking coral-ish? Maybe it's the weird gloomy sky. Believe the lip swatches below. Look at the shape of the crayon! I guess I've used at least half already.

It's like lipstick in crayon form, so it's thicker and feels more creamy than other lip crayons, like Revlon Kissable Balm Stains & Bourjois Color Boost. The stick/crayon is hard, not soft and melty, but it spreads into a creamy and modestly glossy sheet on the lips. Not that I would, but I'd pick it to write on a glass or mirror (you know, like in romantic movies.) The texture feels somewhat similar to MAC Lustre finish lipstick. It's fragrance-free (well, maybe a very very faint & fleeting grapefruit whiff, I'm not sure. My nose.) & it's taste-free. It's very moisturizing and my lips haven't cracked in a long time.
It's such a wearable pink lippie & I do like it a lot. I wouldn't mind getting 1-2 more shades, but if they're really 'Limited Edition' and are all gone before I get my hands on them, I will live =)

Price ~ Rs.800 from MedplusBeauty
My Rating ~ ♥♥♥♥♥ 4.5/5

I squeezed in a full face look with this lippie on the same day I did the Blush Bronzer Highlighter Tutorial  (yup, over a month ago!) that's why my face looks so made-up....

I'm wearing the Primark playsuit I bought during my very first Primark haul last year. Whenever I have it on, I stand in front of the mirror....make a fist with my right hand....lift it up....then I swing it and move my body from side to side.....like I'm holding a racket and playing lawn tennis  =D

  5. I never heard about this brand! :O Here in Italy doesn't exsist!
Anyway, seeing the lipstick before the application I thought it look similar to the Nyx jumbo lip pencil (in particular, the Chloe one, which I love and I suggest to you to try) BUT after I saw the photo in which you wear it...wow, it look cool because isn't too much fuchsia! (even if I love the color :P)
Ok, ok, I wrote so much! XD Kisses!!!!

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
