Lakme Fantasy Collection For Spring 2011

Lakme will be launching a new collection called 'Fantasy' by Gauri & Nainika, that might just be their best collection yet. You (or just me) hear 'fantasy', you automatically think 'magical'.

About Fantasy Collection:
Spread your wings and let a million fantasies come alive. This season, get ready to be sprinkled with fairy dust as Lakmé, India’s leading beauty brand, explores a new dimension in color cosmetics with “Fantasy Collection”.

Lakmé announces talented designer duo, Gauri & Nainika as the Grand Finale Designers for Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/ Resort 2011, scheduled from March 11-15, 2011.

Excited about the collection, Gauri & Nainika said, “We are thrilled to be associated with Lakmé. The theme this season, Fantasy Collection, is one that is close to our hearts. Our association began with the creation of this new theme, which starts four to five months prior to the show. It is an exploration into the feminine and almost dreamy influences that drive the many moods of all women. With its fresh, vibrant colors of nature, Lakmé’s summer palette provides that element of richness and a touch of idyllic that every woman craves for. We hope that our collection will unfurl a whole new world of sparkling fantasies for women.”

On the association, N. Rajaram, Vice President, Lakmé says, “This year, with the introduction of the Lakmé Fantasy Collection at the Grand Finale, we will mark yet another step towards bringing to the modern Indian woman, fresh, invigorating and exciting color cosmetics. Lakmé’s new collection is targeted at the confident woman of today and Gauri & Nainika embody this pioneering spirit in their creations and we are elated with this association. We have been working together for the last three months and we are sure that this collection will once again create the buzz and excitement that defines a Lakme Grand Finale.”

I can't wait for Lakme to reveal the Fantasy Collection!

Mac Cremeblend Blush ~ So Sweet, So Easy Review & Swatches

MAC has decided to relaunch the Cremeblend blushes that came out with In Lillyland Collection, and discontinue Blushcremes. It doesn't affect me coz the Blushcreme shades I like will be converted to Cremeblend.

Mac Cremeblend Blush in So Sweet, So Easy is a bright yellow pink which looks very bubblegum-ey. It is quite sheer and needs to be layered for it to show. I reach for this only when I'm feeling 'pink', but don't want very rosy cheeks. I'd say it is a warmer-toned & cream version of MAC Pink Swoon Powder Blush
