Elle 18 Color Bombs caused quite a stir when they were launched. It's like people went crazy or something. The press release post about the products is the most popular post in this blog and till now it still gets a lot of of hits every single day. I got comments & emails with questions and more questions from people asking: where to buy them?, how's the quality? Some even thought I'm a manufacturer and asked: "May I know wholesale price of all the products?" and "Can you send them to France?" =D
Now I have the some of the products, and will be doing mini reviews on all of them. I hope they'll answer some of your questions.
About Elle 18 Color Bombs
This exciting and funky range of color cosmetics has been designed for young trendy girls. The range designed in cool shapes has explosively vibrant colors for lips, nails and eyes. The products are packed with the goodness of Cocoa butter, Jojoba Oil, Rose Water and Almonds.
1. Elle 18 Kajal (Rs.65) ~ First of all, I love the the packaging. I was worried it was going to look cheap but no no, not cheap-looking at all. It's all cute! Now about the kajal, it's very black like most kajals, and smudges like most kajals. The key is too apply some powder around your eyes before applying.
*Ingredients are not listed anywhere, so I hope it doesn't have harmful stuff in it, like lead.

2. Elle 18 Eye Sparklers in Purple Pataka (Rs.85)~ This eye crayon can be used as liner, as a cream eyeshadow or as an eyeshadow base. It glides on smoothly and is super blendable. I love this shade. I wore it alone all over my lids and it looked really nice.Yes, it creases, which I expected. Compared to NYX Jumbo pencils, this pencil is a little harder and more matte.
Tip: Apply (dab) some powder on top of it to prevent smudging.

3. Elle 18 Lip Smoothie in Vanilla Heat (Rs.85) ~ Pretty shade with non-gritty shimmer, moisturizing formula, cute squeeze tube, BUT horrible horrible smell/taste! Oh my gosh! It's like kerosene or petrol, both of which I can't stand. It's incredible offensive! Some people love the smell of kerosene & petrol (why?!), so this could be the best lip product ever made, for them.

|On lips. So pretty, isn't it? Sigh...what a shame.|
4. Elle 18 Color Burst in Raspberry Ripple (Rs.100) ~ Looking for one of the best cheap lipsticks? This is it. Cute packaging, non-drying formula, doesn't wear off quickly, and available in 25 shades. I usually wouldn't have picked this shade myself (you know me, pink pink pink!), but I was surprised that it's not bad, not bad at all. It has a mild fragrance...umm...bubblegum mixed with something, I can't really put my finger on it, which doesn't bother me. For 100 bucks, I have no complaints with this one. I'm definitely buying more shades.

To sum it all up, I would buy all of them except for the Lip Smoothie :\. I so hope that it's just this one shade that smells like kerosene, coz there are some other shades that I really wanted to try. What are the chances?!
