Last year I reached a point where I didn't feel happy after a shopping trip unless I've spent over 8-10k. I know, it's terrible. I felt terrible. It's not about the money, but the amount of things I had to buy to feel satisfied. The more I bought, the merrier I was. That has to change this year, I thought.
Recently, I bought 2 things that made me feel good, but didn't burn a hole in my pocket. Fabulous things that I would actually use.
The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell - If you're a 'Sex and The City' fan, you have to read this.
I've just read half the book (so if you've finished it, NO SPOILERS, please :) ), and I can't put it down. It's hilarious! Carrie's dad is a hoot. I plan on finishing it tonight.
I thought I'd post the 1st chapter in case you want to read a little before buying.
A Princess On Another Planet
Yup, there's an uptight 'Cynthia'. We hate her! =D
Next up is a pair of Forever 21 floral earrings, which I think are real pretty & girly.
The Carrie Diaries ~ Rs.299
Forever 21 earrings- Rs.199.
